Your details, and what I do with them. In plain English, because you should not need a lawyer to read this.
The short version. I collect only what I need to reply to you and do the job. There is no tracking on this website, no analytics, and no advertising. I do not sell your information to anyone, and I never will. If you want your details removed, email me and I will remove them.

That is the lot. I do not collect anything in the background, and there is nothing on this site quietly watching what you do.
To reply to you, to photograph your property, to deliver your photos, and to invoice you. Nothing else. I will not add you to a mailing list because you enquired.

Each of these is a well established provider with its own security and privacy commitments. Some of them store data outside Australia.
There are no tracking cookies, no analytics and no advertising pixels on this website. I am not measuring you and I am not building a profile of you.
If you sign in to the client portal, your browser stores a small piece of information so that you stay signed in while you look around. That is the only thing this site keeps in your browser, and clearing your browser data removes it.
One thing worth being upfront about: the site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google sees the address your browser is connecting from. That is the only outside service involved in simply viewing a page.

If you have a client portal, you can see your own records and nobody else's. The system is built so that one client cannot reach another client's galleries, bookings or invoices, and that is enforced by the database itself rather than by hiding buttons.
I do not sell your details, I do not trade them, and I do not hand them to anyone for marketing. The only time I would share anything is if the law required me to.
If you enquire and we never end up working together, I keep the enquiry only while it is useful, and I am happy to delete it sooner if you ask.
If you become a client, I keep your records for as long as I need to run the business properly. Invoices and payment records have to be kept for at least five years under Australian tax rules.
The photographs I take remain my work, and you receive a licence to use them for the purpose we agreed, such as marketing your property. I may show a selection of my work in my portfolio and on social media. If you would rather I did not use photographs of your property that way, just tell me and I will not.
Email me at hello@acaciamedia.com.au and I will tell you what I hold, correct anything wrong, or delete it. No forms, no process, just ask.
The only thing I cannot delete straight away is invoicing records, because I am required to keep those for tax purposes.
If how I handle your information changes, I will update this page and change the date at the top. Anything significant, and I will tell existing clients directly.
Tell me first. Email me and I will sort it out. If you are not happy with how I have handled it, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
